In the eternal loop of fragmented bodies and floating information, they flow, gather, transform from incorporeal to corporeal, and dissipate from corporeal to incorporeal.
The project "Invisible General" is the second chapter of the trilogy "Ghost Island," a collaboration between Meuko! Meuko! and NONEYE (NAXS Corp). The title takes inspiration from a Yin temple - a temple worshiping ghosts and lost souls - along the country side of Taipei, attempting to translate the sorrow and anger of the isolated souls into noise and percussion. With the rise of generative AI, the creators have decided to further explore the concept of "data with spirits," juxtaposing traditional beliefs with contemporary Dataism to seek the belongingness of various wandering spirits in the age of technology. They strive not only to confront personal vulnerability but also to resist the oppression prevalent in the post-technological society, where incorporeal information and tangible violence spread.
