During my tenure as the head of NAXS, I led the team in several commercial projects. Here are some of the more representative cases.
202x, Online, Commissioned by Ministry of Culture Taiwan
TaiwanNOW, a major online exhibition planned by the Ministry of Culture of Taiwan, was designed to showcase Taiwan's cultural and technological achievements. Initially scheduled to be held in Tokyo during the 2020 Olympics with exhibitions and performances, it was shifted online due to the pandemic. I led the NAXS team in overall technical planning and core technology development, collaborating with many external teams to complete the exhibition content. TaiwanNOW utilized Cloud Rendering technology, enabling mobile device users to experience high-quality, real-time interactive content.
202x, Taipei, Commissioned by Netflix Asia
Invited by Netflix Asia, the NAXS team collaborated to create a VR experience and outdoor installation for their first commissioned TV series in Taiwan, "Nowhere Man," exhibited at Taipei's "White Night" festival. The NAXS team is responsible not only for the VR content but also for the venue design as a whole. The project attracted more than 20,000 visitors in one night
20xx, Paris, , Commissioned by Angus Chang and HTC
The NAXS team collaborated with Taiwanese fashion designer Angus Chang to launch a VR game experience at Paris Fashion Week. Similar to a VR version of Mario, but in this game, players collect "Followers."
